How to hit your protein without eating chicken at every meal

Protein is the thing most people think they are eating enough of and are not.

You do not need to love chicken breast to fix it. You need a short list of things you actually like.

(General nutrition information, not medical advice. Check labels, because brands vary a lot.)

Breakfast

  • Eggs. A large egg is about 6g of protein.
  • Greek yogurt. Plain nonfat is roughly 10g per 100g.
  • Cottage cheese, about 11g per 100g.

Snacks

  • Greek yogurt with fruit.
  • A protein shake. Most scoops land in the 20-25g range, but check your tub.
  • Jerky, edamame, a hard-boiled egg.

Lunch and dinner

  • Chicken, sure, but also fish, lean beef, tofu, lentils, beans.
  • Add protein to what you already eat, rather than rebuilding every meal.

How much do you need? It depends on your goal and your body weight, and it is not the same number for everyone. Scully works your target out from your goal and weight when you set up your profile, and the Today page shows how far along you are.

That is the part I care about. Not a magic number, just seeing, at 3 PM, that you are 40g short with three hours to fix it.

You tell Scully what you ate, you see where you stand, and you decide what to eat next. No spreadsheet.

See where your protein actually lands this week.
